welcome to richmond.

im officially in richmond virginia. yay. the drive went surprisingly well. we made it in a little over 13 hours. we hit some traffic that slowed us down a bit and then there was some rain that slowed us down too. we got here thursday morning and i have been pretty much just laying around since then. losing a night of sleep really messes up your sleeping pattern. im not sure what i am going to do with myself now that i am here... for now i am just going to lay around and enjoy vacation for a bit.
yesterday alison and i were out walking the dogs and i tried to adjust oryx's collar because i looked like it was digging into him and the little bastard pulled his head back and slipped out of the collar and took off running. i took off after him in full on adrenaline mode and ran out in front of cars. i chased him for several blocks and at one point wiped out in the middle of the road. my knees are all scuffed up and i had some gravel in my palm. i finally caught up with him because he decided to stop and take a poop. who know miniature pincher's could run so fast. i certainly didnt.
the cicadas are really awesome and loud. i like them a lot.
im a little bored today. i have been hanging out with alison at the tattoo shop. i could go for a nap. i like naps lately.

little dog i will miss you.

any guesses where i am? no? well little dog of course. this will probably be my last visit here for a while so i am trying to fill my gut with my favorite coffee. organic french roast. mmm. im on big mug number two. the internet is working quite splendidly today and that makes me pretty happy. i am done working now. yay. my last day was on thursday and then we had a bbq. the bbq was pretty fun. i got pretty drunk. then ron and i went to west gardiner and picked up alison. she stayed in brunswick thursday night then we went to reid state park on friday with the family. after the beach we went to brothers house and ate pizza, drank a little beer and had a fire. it was pretty fun. i like alisons family. from brothers we went to camden and i spent the night with alison at her mamas. saturday we hung out in camden and did a little shopping. camden is such a tourist town i think i would like it better in the fall or winter or something. the tourists are annoying but it is a cute little town. i drove home yesterday afternoon so that i could go with ron to his sister chelsea's birthday party. it was ok. carolyn made me play mancala over and over again. i kick all kinds of ass at that game and she tried and failed repeatedly to beat me. then we played a little uno. playing games with kids is a little annoying to me because they are bad at playing by the rules. whatever though. the icecream was good. i am supposed to be home working on packing and cleaning my crap but i needed coffee real bad first. i didnt get up until eleven today so it is already almost one. i bet some of the other customers in here think i am a little ridiculous but hey its sunday i can hang out in a coffee shop in my jammies if i wanna. i have a couple of fun pictures that i can share. girls camping was last weekend and i couldnt go because i didnt know soon enough and i was having my yardsale that same weekend. but my aunt sandra sent me some pretty awesome pictures. i am definately going next year.

i sat out here half the day for four bucks?

so i am sitting out on my lawn for day 2 of my lawn sale. yesterday was far better than today. i have only sold crap to 2 people all day. lame. i made decent money yesterday though... in about an hour i am just going to put up a sign that says free and hope that people will deduce the size of the pile of shit i need to bring to goodwill.
the weather has been really awesome and it is supposed to be sunny and 80 all week. its about time the rain stops. it has been a little ridiculous. roads have been washing out all over the place.
my legs hurt today. stupid circulation.
sitting in a camp chair for 2 days straight isnt helping. i need to do something fun in the sun this afternoon. i have to do my laundry too. stupid laundry. i hate it. i skipped last week and now i have tons and tons. it doesnt even come close to all fitting in my basket.
ugh.

sooo... i only have 4 more days of work. im pumped. i hate goodall and i cant wait to hand in my uniform crap. i have been getting shit ready for my yard sale tomorrow but i am getting bored with it so i am taking a blog break.
alison is coming on wednesday. yay.
i caught a praying mantis the other day at work. he was just hanging out in a bed at the court house. i brought him home and put him in a cage but he hasnt eaten a single thing yet so i am starting to think that i might have to let him go so he doesnt die. im a little sad. i wanted to keep him as a pet so i could watch him eat and molt and other cool things.
my room is wall to wall mess right now and just sitting in here is stressing me out.
i bought the biggest coolest marker ever to make my lawn sale signs.

i still havent applied to any colleges. i need to decide officially between farmington and orono. and i recently discovered husson. i am thinking about applying there too.
im scared to go back to college.

so im hanging out at little dog. its the only place i can get a reliable internet connection. i kind of like hanging out here. i can keep my headphones on and people watch completely uninterrupted. until someone i know walks in the door. she wasnt as beautiful as she is in my head. i wanted to download tools album undertow while i was here but would you believe that neither itunes or amazon have it? it must be out of print or something... lame. i really wanted to hear it. i guess i will have to buy some spin doctors instead.
so kasey and mikes wedding reception bbq things was yesterday. i didnt take any pictures. i am so sad that my camera is broken. i can still use my old one but the flash doesnt work on it. the bbq was fun. mama and scott made some really awesome food and it was really cool to have the whole family out at the farm together. the weather was really nice too we only got one rain shower all day. after the bbq ron and i went to the topsham fair to watch the demolition derby. our friend tyler competed. he did a good job. it was super fun to watch them beat the crap out of each other. tyler was in the final few but got pulled out because his helmet flew off his head. we took a few pictures.

thats all i got. since my camera broke i havent really been taking many pictures. it makes me a little sad. i like to take pictures a lot. a lot a lot.
this movie is wicked lame i dont know what i am going to do to keep myself entertained. the mosquitos keep finding me and trying to bite me. i hate to have to kill them but they wont leave me alone.
i havent completely figured out my plan yet but i have worked out more of the details. i am officially leaving for virginia at the end of august. alison is coming home on the 20th and we are going to hang out here for a bit. then we are going to drive home to her house. and i am going to hang out and be lazy there for a while. i am hoping that she will be really bored and want to tattoo me a lot. at some point i am going to try to drive to my daddys and hang out there for a bit. im thinking i might try to do some work through a temp agency or something for some extra cashola. im not sure really. then whenever i run out of money or christmas comes (whichever happens first) i will come home to my mama and be a mooch. then i think that i am going to go to school at either farmington orono or unity. i would like to go to unity and study captive wildlife rehabilitation and education. but what i really should do is go to farmington and do their secondary education program. i can do a concentration in life science and i would be able to be done in a couple years and come out certified and ready for a job. unity sounds more fun but i kinda feel like it would be a bad idea for me to change my major at this point. so ya where ever i end up i am thinking that i am going to try to stay in a dorm. im not real excited about it but it would make going to school full time a lot easier.
